I am going to share with you three treasures to live by because when life changing events happen, sometimes you need a gentle reminder on how to take care of yourself. Those are very powerful words because no one will ever take care of YOU the way that YOU will. Instinctually, you know exactly what you need and you should not feel guilty about it.


#FOOD

Let's talk about eating clean, real, & #organic food. A smart rule that I have always remembered is stick to the perimeter of the grocery store because that is where the fruits, veggies, meats, and cottage cheeses are hanging out! Also, if you can't pronounce the ingredients, don't eat it. A life changing purchase for me was my Omega J8007S. #SLEEP

Schedule yourself enough sleep. Yes, actually block out that time every night for some wonderful dreams. The National Sleep Foundation's annual Sleep in America® recent 2018 poll revealed 65% of people that get enough sleep do feel like a more effective person, yet 41% of people don't plan enough time for sleep. The National Sleep Foundation recommends adults sleep around 7-9 hours a night. Not to worry, we are about to create a bedtime ritual. Try a warm shower or bath before bed, dim the lights, light candles or turn on a diffuser with essential oils. I love using a few drops of #doTERRA lavender essential oil on my pillow, in my diffuser, and on my chest before bed. I even throw in a few drops of Eucalyptus in my bathtub along with Epsom salt. #YOGA & #MEDITATION

If you wish you had more time, felt more relaxed, want to deepen your concentration level, and unleash some creativity, I want to share with you the benefits of yoga and meditation. Yoga is a practice that prepares the body for meditation which is the grand event. I find that I can now calm my mind in as little as 3-5 breaths. Anyone can try yoga at anytime in their life. It took me quite a few years of practicing to stop worrying about what I looked like and wondering if I was good at it. After years of practice, I now know that showing up on my mat is enough, and linking movement with breath truly is life changing. Every time I show up, I become a more connected, happier person.
